Bio

Dr. Nathan Ngieng is the Superintendent Of Schools for the Abbotsford School District. He has been with the Abbotsford School District since 2017, holding a number of different senior leadership roles supporting operational responsibilities for middle schools, inclusive education, and Indigenous education. Over the course of his 26 years in public education, he has worked for three BC school districts in a variety of roles. Additionally, Dr. Ngieng has served on a number of provincial boards and committees, including the BC Council of Administrators of Inclusive Supports in Education, Provincial Advisory Board for the Youth Development Instrument, Advisory Board for the Canadian Institute for Inclusion and Citizenship, the BC School Superintendent’s Association and the Education Canada Network.
